I would love to re-read Deenie too. I don't remember much about it besides that she had scoliosis, right? I prefer the older cover but I guess they have to appeal to the kids.
Does anyone remember the Lois Duncan books? I started thinking about some of those the other day and would love to reread those as well: Stranger With My Face, Don't Look Behind You, Killing Mr. Griffin.
I like the newer one better; although it does look like a Sarah Dessen book.
I read Lois Duncan, but I don't remember reading any of those. The one I remember is Down a Dark Hall, about a school where the staff were using the student's minds to translate work from the souls of dead geniuses like Beethoven. It was very Buffy.
We're a book club in the triangle area of North Carolina, now in our second decade. From time to time we blog about books, parenting, style and politics. And vampires.
