Friday Fun: Glassbooth.org!

Instead of a top 5 list, I thought you all might like to spend your Friday down time determining your candidate preferences for the 2008 election cycle. Step into the glass voting booth here. This is actually the most useful and comprehensive of these types of tools I've seen.

I've resisted it because I really want a Madame President, but according to my score, it's time to hop on board the O-train!

Thanks, Liz- that was fun AND helpful! Apparently I'm an Edwards girl, which is no surprise as I've liked him since the 2004 primaries.

Well, I seem to agree with the most with Mike Gravel. I've only heard him speak once and all I remember about him is that he's old and from Alaska???

I matched the most with Kucinich. This surprised me. Thanks for the link - I'll be forcing it on others now.

I actually matched highest with Kucinich too (80% vs. 79% with both Gravel and Obama). But since Kucinich encouraged his supporters to back Obama if Kucinich wasn't viable, (and as Dawn implies, who the heck is Gravel) I considered that a match for me with Obama.

Sonya - it's pretty cool that the candidate you like the best is the one you got matched with. You must be really self-aware! Or at least politically aware.

I read this today. Actually I learned about it from a mommy blog. According to these polls, Edwards is the only Democrat who beats ALL Republicans in a national matchup. Food for thought.

Kucinich was also my top pick. Edwards was next and then Obama and Clinton were about equal (one point difference).

It has been interesting to see what the rest of the world thinks of this process (having watched CNN and BBC world on my travels).
